June came with surprises. The weather was warmer than ever. We visited one of the most significant lilac gardens in Europe, cooked meals from garden vegetables, ate meals outside, and took a beautiful boat trip on the river Lielupe. While discovering new wines and a wine glass in one hand, we watered the plants as the sky had no plan to do so. Flowers kept me busy arranging them all over the house and salads to prepare them in dishes with the grandest taste.
