Kilner
I don't know how about you, but I do get the excitement from even simple things like buying a jar and filling it with flour, granola, jam or candies. Yes. Those simple pleasures that we sometimes do not want to acknowledge to others, as who gets excited about a jar. But why not? Especially if it is the iconic Kilner Jar, which has an almost 200-year history that started in 1842 when John Kilner established the company in Thornhill Lees, producing bottles, jars, and apothecary items.
Although the story started in 1842, the real success came in 1870 when Kilner won awards in Paris, Philadelphia, Sydney, and Melbourne. Later, in 1900, they introduced the world with their patented vacuum seal system, which is still famous today. Then came the metal and plastic caps and other innovations, as till today, Kilner provides easy solutions not only in storing products and food but also in preparation. Apart from the jars I adore, some other essentials at our home are a seasoning grinder, breakfast jar, fermentation jar, and pickle jar. Well, there is much more to this list, yet it seems like it is never enough.
