Herb and Earth
With a friend like mine who knows incense, it's easy to fall in love with it again – something I’d despised for a long time, mostly because I was introduced to those very chemical kinds that made my head ache and my nose go numb.
And then, one day, I walked into a shop in Bordeaux and came across these ones from Herb & Earth – pure fragrances made with natural oils, producing minimal or no smoke (I've burnt quite a few recently), and clean, as no artificial dyes have been used.
The collection includes many aromas: from my favourites – rose, lavender, sandalwood, and sage – to those less dear to me (and they say there’s a reason), like frankincense and matcha, bergamot and jasmine. These are finally the first ones I’ve truly enjoyed scenting my home with, without the desperate need to fling the windows open afterwards – and that is a blessing.
