Edible gifts. Flavored salt

I think that flavored salt is a great gift for anyone who eats. You can make tens of varieties (depending on the taste the other person likes) and put them into nice jars with notes on which salt is which. It is a good idea to add what that salt is good with, but as it is with salt, it can be used with everything. I love to give it as a gift with fresh eggs, as that is the first thing salt tastes great with - boiled eggs or omelets. Pack it nicely and the gift is ready.

Ingredients

juniper salt:
250 g medium coarse sea salt*
10 g dried juniper
20g dried garlic
10 g black pepper
1/4 caraway seeds

curry salt:
250 g medium coarse sea salt*
2 tbsp curry powder
bit of chilli flakes, if desired

red salt:
250 g medium coarse sea salt*
2 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tbsp fennel seeds
1 smoked bittersweet pepper

rosemary lavender salt:
250 g medium coarse sea salt*
1 heaping tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp lavender
12 tbsp fennel seeds
1 tsp anise seeds
2 tbsp dried rosemary

For the juniper salt, place all of the spices into the blender and blend until they are a coarse powder. Add 1/4 of the salt and blend for a few more seconds. Add spice mixture to the salt, mix, and place into the jar closing the lid.

For the curry salt, mix everything together and store in a closed jar.

For red salt, place spices and 1/4 of the salt into a blender and process for a few seconds. Add to the rest of the salt, mix, and place in a jar, closing the lid.

For rosemary salt, place lavender and 1/4 of the salt into a blender, process for few seconds to break down the flower and salt. Add to the rest of the salt together with the rest of the spices. Mix, place into a jar, and close the lid.

* I hate to use very fine salt, but too coarse is not good either, especially if you consider how it is going to be used later on. So medium size, not too fine and not too coarse, is the best option.
