Paris addresses. Edition II
From a beautifully delicious breakfast at Grand Pigalle, a walk to and around Batignolles, to lunch with a friend munching on smash burgers and fries, the day unfolded into wandering through galleries, talking about life — and men, in particular (the French dating scene) — sipping coffee, eating cakes, and meeting people. Some I’ll most probably never meet again; some, something tells me, I will.
But it was the evening that truly swept me off my feet. A wine bar just seven minutes from my hotel (on my list for a while) where I went for a simple dinner with a book, and left hours later — four oeufs mimosa, terrine, tarama, mousse au chocolat and a few more drinks down. But it wasn’t the food that carried me away. It was the generosity of people, the laughter, the place, and the beauty of travelling alone.
