3 day cooking weekend in Burgundy with Best Sommelier of the World . 17th - 19th of October 2025
It is no secret that Burgundy is one of the most famous wine regions in the world—a place where everyone dreams of visiting, but only a few succeed. Nestled in the heart of Burgundy, surrounded by its finest vineyards and breathtaking views, lies La Maison de Pommard. Hidden in the charming village of Pommard, it is a true gem, unlike any other.
During these days, you are invited to indulge in the beauty of this extraordinary place, celebrating life through food and wine. Together, we will cook regional and French dishes, from simple French breakfasts to seasonal dinners featuring the best local produce. You will be pampered with exquisite flavours while learning how to master French cuisine at home in the simplest, most enjoyable way.
But that’s not all. Over the course of these three days, we will also explore the beautiful market in Beaune, stop by local boulangeries, and visit charming shops to source ingredients for our cooking sessions. You’ll also have the chance to bring some of these treasures back home. From table setting to dinner ideas and creative preparation techniques, these three days will not only inspire you to cook more often but will also let you experience the magic of Burgundy—one of the world’s most renowned and beautiful wine regions.
And it gets even better
This weekend will be even more special because we will be joined by a very distinguished guest: a man who needs no introduction, Raimonds Tomsons, ASI Best Sommelier of the World 2023. Raimonds is a man of unparalleled expertise, with a deep passion for wine and a heart as generous as his knowledge. Having known him for many years, I can confidently say that I have never met a more gracious and inspiring sommelier. He has an extraordinary gift for making guests feel welcomed and knowledgeable, while also teaching them so much—even in a two-minute conversation.
Not only will he personally select wines for all the meals (and trust me, when he does, you’ll savour every sip), but he will also host two exclusive wine degustations/masterclasses during these weekends. This is a rare and extraordinary opportunity to learn from someone so accomplished and in demand.
And we will go one step further—a winery visit with Raimonds himself.
A little note on the wines
Perhaps we will open a bottle that is 40 years old—or even older. But what is certain is that we will enjoy wines that many of you have never had the chance to taste before—and perhaps never will again. These will be truly special wines, reserved for moments like this.
