February. The frozen time
It seems like there is nothing significant about February, especially with climate change. The places that were once covered in snow this month have lost that luck, as well as those places where the sun used to shine brighter but now arrives less often. If January is dry and slow after the celebrations, February should feel faster in pace. Yet, it still seems like time has stopped. Everyone is waiting for something. Some for the greens to arrive, some for extra snow, some for the best travel deals to escape to warmer places, and others simply exist. Those who survived through dry January are happy to inhale the aromas of stunning wines. Those who have been running to the gym like crazy are doing it less now (perhaps). Some still stick to their new diet, while others have lost track of it. But, no matter what everyone’s way is, it is still their way. It’s a way to wait for the spring.

Cooking weekend in Burgundy
The evening of our "last meal", I sent one of them a message asking how they enjoyed the restaurant in Paris that evening when I received a reply that they did not go, as they were so full from the weekend that there was going to be no food for a week now. I took it as a compliment, as we ate and drank a lot that weekend in Burgundy. And many of us - walked as well.
